Worthy Grand Matron's Welcome
Dear Sisters , Brothers, and Visitors:
As the Worthy Grand Matron of the Grand Chapter of Kentucky for 2009-2010, it is a privilege for me to welcome you to our Official Website. Information is provided here in the hope that it will benefit our members within Kentucky and will assist other Grand Jurisdictions, and that it will promote a better understanding of the Order to non-members everywhere. To each of you I extend a hearfelt “WELCOME”.
Because Eastern Stars are about uniting and working together in Harmony. The Theme for the year is “Stars in Harmony ~Staying the Course”, with Faith, Family, and Friends.
My Worthy Grand Patron, Brother Cole A. Younger and I wish for each of you the Heart of a Servant, so that you will help those in need, and you will take to heart the values of our principles: Charity, Truth, and Loving Kindness and use them wherever and whenever possible. Brother Cole’s fun emblem is the Ship’s Wheel with the compass enclosed, which is a symbol of God’s direction for us to be “Stars In Harmony~ Staying the Course”, He has set for us.
We wish for you all our sisters and brothers all over the world God’s Travel Mercies as you travel in your own Grand Jurisdictions and others, and in Kentucky we wish the same. We look forward to traveling into your Districts for the “School of Instructions” and Inspections of your Chapters and all the other Fun Functions. We extend to all Grand Jurisdictions an invitation to travel the Course with us as much as possible and visit one another, we will renew old friendships and make new ones. “That’s what it is all about”. We are one in the Bond of Love!
